In today’s evolving healthcare landscape, the role of a physiotherapist extends far beyond simply treating individuals physical underlying symptoms. I am more focused on providing a holistic, patient-centered approach which places the individual at the core of the care and recognizing that optimal healing involves not just treating the physical symptoms but also incorporating in lifestyle changes, emotions, goals and mindset.

Each patient may present with a unique set of challenges i.e. physical, emotional, work demands, social factors, life challenges and personal aspirations. As a holistic physiotherapist my focus is to take the time to listen, observe and understand the full context of the individual life. This allows myself to identify the contributing factors that may influence an individual’s recovery.

One of the most important aspects of my assessment and treatment is the education I give to my patients. I believe that education is the key to a positive outcome in your recovery.

Alysha Hawkins

Alysha is an enthusiastic and passionate physiotherapist and the founder of Meta365 Physiotherapy. She has extensive experience in assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries. I decided to make physiotherapy my life long profession when I realized the impact I could have on the lives of my patients, it is an incredibly warming experience.

Having started her career in age care she has a huge passion for Gerontology. It combines physical, mental and social aspects of the ageing population to assist with falls prevention, muscle imbalances and overall enhanced wellbeing.

Alysha has experience working alongside football teams as a sports trainer and as a physiotherapist focusing on injury prevention, assessment and treatment whilst working in a musculoskeletal clinic. She enjoys all aspects of an active life both mentally and physically and strives to assist her patients to achieve their goals and return back to the things they enjoy doing most. She uses Pilates, individualized exercise programs and her extensive skill set to assist with improving muscular imbalances and overall improving postural awareness to prevent future aggravations.

Alysha moved to Sydney to further her career working alongside six physicians and other allied health care providers. She thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and established a successful working relationship to achieve the best outcome for her patients. She has continued this successful relationship here back in Perth working alongside doctors and staff at Jupiter Health. We provide a multi-disciplinary approach to our patients to address all aspects of their care. Meeting their needs is our highest priority.

Away from physiotherapy she enjoys staying physically fit by attending the gym, mobility workshops, breathwork/meditation, hikes with her dog Xena, Muay Thai and dancing salsa/bachata.
